From very first tricks to creative lines and the pure joy of riding a perfect pipe, the format offers an accessible platform for all skill levels. It’s more than just sport – it’s a community celebration that redefines the fun of freestyle for every generation.
The FUN PIPE® Event
The FUN PIPE® Event combines classic event culture with modern digital engagement. Designed as acommunity- and friends-oriented contest, with the focus is on creativity, style and teamwork– with special award categories such as the Family Award and Friends Award (2-person teams), as well as individual categories for Old Dogs and Young Guns.
Halfpipe riding made easy?
That’s exactly what’s becoming reality this May at Hintertux Glacier. With the new Fun Pipe at Betterpark Hintertux, an innovative pilot project is taking shape – rethinking the halfpipe to be more accessible, more playful, and open to everyone.
From May 1 to May 25, 2026, the Fun Pipe will be open daily at Betterpark Hintertux, welcoming all levels or riders, from first attempts to next-level trick progression. This is made possible by a new shape concept: with 3.5-meter walls, a length of 120 meters, and, most importantly, a rounder bottom, the pipe with an overall height of 4 meters delivers a noticeably smoother and more controlled riding experience. In other words, the Fun Pipe is the “blue run” of halfpipes.
